Dylan Raiola Scouting Summary
“Advanced arm talent with the ability to make a wide variety of high-level throws as a high school signal-caller. Was identified as a top arm talent and quarterback in the 2024 cycle early on in his high school career. Physically developed at around 6-foot-3, 230 pounds. Has continued to add mass later on in his high school career. Owns a natural, loose throwing motion with arm dexterity to deliver off-platform and from multiple arm slots. Showed a deep catalog of throws as a sophomore. Easily drives the ball to all levels of the field. Played both under center and in the shotgun as a junior. Ahead of the curve as a ball-handler and in the quick passing game. Shows good footwork and awareness in the pocket. Capable of creative plays in the face of pressure. Primarily a pass-first quarterback as a junior, not running for many yards and finishing with -82 yards rushing – an anomaly for a top quarterback prospect. Will need to show more mobility and playmaking ability. Transferred to his third high school prior to his senior season. The son of 14-year NFL center Dominic Raiola. Also a standout baseball player as a pitcher and catcher.”
Raiola ranks as the No. 1 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 1 quarterback and the top player in the state of Arizona.

His father had a legendary career for Nebraska from 1998-2000, finishing as a consensus All-American and winning the Rimington Trophy for best center in college football. He played 14 years in the NFL for the Detroit Lions and became the first player in franchise history to play in 200 games with the team. Before transferring to Chandler (Arizona) High ahead of his junior season, Raiola threw for 3,341 yards and 32 touchdowns in 12 games as a sophomore at Burleson (Texas) High. In 2022, Raiola threw for 2,435 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing 64% of his passes. Away from football, Raiola is strong in his faith in Jesus Christ. “Without God, I wouldn’t be able to do anything I do now,” he said. His mother, Yvonne Raiola, played water polo at the University of Hawaii, Manoa along with three other aunts and uncles who played collegiate athletics. His sister, Taylor Raiola, plays volleyball at TCU.”
