Four-Star CB Justyn Rhett commits to Georgia
Four-star cornerback Justyn Rhett of Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman High announced his commitment to Georgia on Monday morning.
The 6-foot-1, 195 pounder was originally committed to Notre Dame, but backed off of his pledge on April 16th.
Rhett discussed his decision to ultimately choose Georgia.
“My decision to commit to Georgia was to play in the best conference in college football today,” Rhett said “I couldn’t ask for a better relationship than the one I have with coach Francis Brown (DB coach) along with Coach Smart and Coach Muschamp.”
Building those relationships were key in Rhett’s decision, and those were being built even while he was committed to Notre Dame.
“Georgia stayed in contact with me over time ever since I left from my first visit,” Rhett said. “And that was huge for me.”

Rhett attended Georgia’s spring game, also known as G-Day, and the atmosphere blew him away.
