Four-star defensive lineman Jordan Thomas of Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep announced his commitment to Georgia Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 315 pounder chose the Bulldogs over Florida, Tennessee, and Rutgers.

Thomas on why he chose Georgia

“The thing that stood out about them is how the coaches hold their players to a high standard,” Thomas said. “ They are great and I’m really close with them. Seeing the defensive line that coach Scott has developed really made me push my commitment and how close I am with a couple of players right now.”

Relationship with staff + their plan for Thomas

“My relationship with the coaches is great,” Thomas said “We all talk a lot and they know me very well. I’m probably closest with coach Scott right now because we talk a lot. Or coach Fran. They plan on using me as the 0 tech, 3 tech or even the 2.”

The New Jersey defensive lineman joins coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs’ no. 1 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, and others.
