Denton (Tex.) Guyer power forward KyeRon Lindsay didn’t need long to know that Georgia was going to be his next home.

After starting an official visit with the Bulldogs yesterday, Lindsay announced on Saturday evening that he had committed to the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-8, 200-pounder is the No. 115 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the country’s No. 19 power forward and the No. 12 senior prospect in Texas.

The Industry Comparison shows On3 is higher on Lindsay than the other three major recruiting services. In the most recent On3 Top 150 Rankings, Lindsay was tabbed as the nation’s No. 103 prospect and No. 16 power forward.

Earlier this month, Lindsay announced that he was reopening his recruitment after signing with UNLV in the fall after his lead recruiter, Carlin Hartman, took a job at Florida.

Last summer, he averaged 17 points and nine rebounds per game in Nike’s most prestigious summer event, Peach Jam in July 2021, earning First Team All-EYBL honors.  He was also named the Breakout Performer of the Year in EYBL, as he shot 53.3 percent from the field and recorded 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per contest at the event.

KyeRon Lindsay is the Bulldogs’ second addition of the day, joining former Syracuse forward Frank Anselem, who announced his intentions to transfer to Georgia.
