Georgia announces dismissal of David Daniel-Sisavanh
Georgia senior defensive back David Daniel-Sisavanh has been dismissed from the team, head coach Kirby Smart announced in a statement on Tuesday as the Bulldogs attended SEC Media Days.
Daniel-Sisavanh was dismissed for a violation of team rules. He was arrested in February and charged with reckless driving for making multiple lane changes at speed without a signal and then leading police on a pursuit, according to a public report from the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
“We wish David good luck during his next step,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said in a statement, per DawgsHQ.
David Daniel-Sisavanh appeared in 10 games last season, recording 10 tackles and one pass break up. He signed with Georgia after being ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 119 overall player in the country in the class of 2021, per the On3 Industry rankings.
As a freshman at Georgia in 2021, Daniel-Sisavanh appeared in 10 games, recording six tackles, as the Bulldogs won the national championship.
The following year the Woodstock, Georgia native appeared in 14 games and had 14 tackles, including two tackles for loss, as the Bulldogs won back-to-back national titles.
It remains to be seen if he will transfer somewhere else for his final season of college football after being dismissed from the Georgia program.

AJC: Georgia football representatives involved in 24 traffic incidents since January 2023
The issues of Georgia football players, staffers and others associated with the program doing reckless and illegal things behind the wheel of a car have become well worn in the last 18 or so months. And the Atlanta Journal-Constitution recounts 24 incidents since January 2023.
The breakdown, which the AJC published after a new round of arrests this July, begins with the infamous fatal crash in January 2023 that killed offensive lineman Devin Willock and staffer Chandler LeCroy. The incidents, which cover a span of 542 days, almost exclusively occurred during the football offseason.
The only incident that happened in close proximity to the season was a Sept. 1, 2023, arrest when staffer Jarvis Jones was stopped and arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police for allegedly driving 86 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone.
Georgia began its 2023 football season with a win over UT Martin the following day.
As for the 2024 season, the Bulldogs will face Clemson in their season opener. The game is scheduled to take place in Atlanta on Saturday, Aug. 31. Kick off is set for Noon.
