All eyes in the recruiting world will be honed in on Athens, GA, as Five-Star Plus+ 2023 quarterback Arch Manning visits town. After previously visiting Georgia unofficially three times, Manning is on an official visit and arrived on Friday to get the festivities underway.

One of the first items of business for Manning was a photo shoot, where he was spotted rocking an alternate Georgia uniform. Instead of the traditional red helmet, the quarterback was wearing a white helmet to go along with white pants and a jersey. It’s not something the Bulldogs have worn on the field but have been pulling them out for recruiting visits recently.

You can check out Manning in the Georgia jersey here.

Pictured alongside Arch Manning is 2023 On3 Consensus four-star running back Justice Haynes. Coming out of Roswell, GA, the Bulldogs are hoping the two offensive studs are key members of another top-level recruiting class. Having the quarterback hang out with a top running back is not a bad idea either.

Georgia currently sits in second place on the On3 RPM for Manning at 44.8%. Texas is currently in the lead and the Longhorns will receive their official visit on June 17. Alabama, who has been considered the third team in Manning’s recruitment, is at 2.1%. However, a commitment from fellow 2023 quarterback Eli Holstein has not changed an official visit to Tuscaloosa planned on June 10 for Manning.

Manning is not only the No. 1 quarterback per the On3 Consensus but also the No. 1 prospect in the country. He is one of three players to have the Five-Star Plus+ tag attached to him as they are considered the best of the best. These elite players are the rare athletes that are 5-stars by all four major recruiting media services.
