Standing at 6-foot-7.5 and weighing in at 345 pounds, Atlanta Westlake four-star interior offensive lineman Juan Gaston is one of the more impressive prospects at his position in the 2025 cycle.

His offer sheet backs that up, too. Over 25 Power Four programs have offered. Last fall, he trimmed his list of top schools down to eight.

Georgia is amongst that group and has been a fixture in Gaston’s recruitment. Now, the in-state Bulldogs are trending heavily, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong logged a pick in favor of UGA on Wednesday morning with a 60% confidence level.

The Dawgs now have over a 90% cushion in the On3 RPM and could be en route to adding another pledge from one of the top trench monsters in the high school ranks. No school has had Gaston on campus more than Georgia.

“At Georgia, I have good bonds with the players and the coaches. I know (offensive line) coach (Stacy) Searels well and he is a great guy,” Gaston previously said of UGA to On3.

Gaston has already returned to Athens this spring and has also lined up an official visit for the May 31 weekend. He also currently has officials lined up with South Carolina (June 7) and Oregon (June 21). Other schools in his top eight include Florida State, USC, UCF, Tennessee and Texas.

When speaking with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons earlier this year, Gaston made it clear that he is in no rush to make his college decision. He’s built solid relationships with his top schools and will likely come off the board during his senior season.

“I am looking to make my decision around the middle of the season,” he said. “What is important to me is my bond with the players on the team. My bond with the coaches is key too, but I do care about how I bond with the players a lot. When I go on visits, I hang out with the players and see how it goes.”

Gaston is the No. 173 overall prospect and No. 11 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 25 player in Georgia.

Georgia Class Breakdown

The Bulldogs have eight commitments early on in the cycle and sit at No. 8 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Folkston (Ga.) Camden County five-star tight end Elyiss Williams is the top-ranked player at his position and currently the lone top-100 prospect in the fold for Kirby Smart and Co. Last month, UGA added a trio of major pledges in the form of Hillside (N.J.) four-star EDGE Darren Ikinnagbon, Findlay (Ohio) four-star quarterback Ryan Montgomery and Evans (Ga.) four-star IOL Mason Evans.

Ikinnagbon and Montgomery are both top-200 recruits, as are Buford (Ga.) four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte and Alpharetta (Ga.) four-star TE Ethan Barbour. Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove four-star running back Bo Walker and Humboldt (Tenn.) three-star defensive lineman Stephon Shivers round out the class.
