Ellis Robinson - Georgia

After the latest rankings updates from other recruiting services, New Haven (Conn.) native and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy cornerback Ellis Robinson IV is now a Five-Star Plus+ prospect, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Robinson, a Georgia commit, is now the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle and is one of 11 players to own the Five-Star Plus+ title. He is the No. 1 CB and No. 2 prospect in Florida in the class. He committed to the Bulldogs on Feb. 1, choosing UGA over Alabama and Miami.

“Everything stood out,” Robinson said of Georgia to On3. “From the coaches to the atmosphere, to the players, it always feels like home when I go down there. Every time I do down there, it just gives me more reasons to stay committed to them.”

Noland has an On3 NIL Valuation of $330K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Ellis Robinson IV Scouting Summary

“Ball-hawking cornerback with plus length, ball skills and refined movement skills. Has shown the ability to make high-level plays on the ball throughout his high school career. Measured close to 6-feet, 175 pounds prior to his senior season. Has plus length for the position with arms that measure a shade under 33 inches. Dominated competition in New York’s Catholic league as a sophomore, bringing in eight interceptions. Made several impressive, acrobatic picks. Moved to IMG Academy as a junior, where he looked like the top defensive back on the Ascenders’ loaded roster. Made strides as a junior relative to his technical skills. Pairs his length and ball skills with refined footwork. Understands routes and generally stays in phase. Embraces matchups against top receivers and is willing to get physical at the line of scrimmage. Also tests as a good athlete in the combine setting. While his speed is good, he does not register as elite for the position. Can continue getting stronger and adding good mass once in a college strength program.”
