Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo declares for 2023 NFL Draft
Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo has officially made a decision on his future and whether to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
The 2021 Freshman All-SEC selection and two-time national champion is NFL-bound after announcing his decision in the locker room following Monday night’s 65-7 blowout of TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Ringo flew onto the scene in 2021 after redshirting in his first year at Georgia in 2020 as he recovered from an offseason surgery. During Georgia’s national championship campaign last year he played in all 15 games and started the final 12, turning into a key part of an elite secondary.
The rangy athlete racked up 34 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups during that season, quickly turning into a household name.
He picked up right where he left off as a redshirt sophomore this season. His interception going into the end zone in a game against Tennessee was picture-perfect, the kind of technique that will have NFL scouts absolutely drooling over his potential.
