Georgia defensive lineman Warren Brinson checked off a unique item on his bucket list over the weekend as he flew a plane for the first time. The Bulldogs star posted a video to X showing himself in control of the aircraft with someone else filming from the passenger seat.

It seems that Brinson simply decided to learn how to fly as a hobby, with his major at UGA being Housing and Management Policy. Either way, it’s impressive that he learned how to do so already as he prepares to enter his senior year in Athens. You can view the video of Brinson flying the plane below.

Brinson is set to enter his fifth season at Georgia after starting in four of 13 games this past year. He finished with a career-best 21 tackles (three for loss), two sacks and one pass defended.

The former four-star recruit is now expected to move into a permanent starting role this season as the Bulldogs aim to make it back to the College Football Playoff. He should be a factor in the pass rush after recording a career-high five quarterback hurries this past season against South Carolina.

Georgia set an SEC record with a 29-game winning streak that lasted from the 2021 College Football Playoff until the 2023 SEC Championship Game against Alabama. It figures to be a favorite to reach the expanded 12-team field this season thanks to experienced players such as Warren Brinson returning.

As much as he has accomplished on the football field, however, adding this off-the-field item to his resume is pretty cool as well. Hopefully he will continue to fly high in more ways than one.

Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Hall to miss start of camp with leg fracture

Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Hall is set to miss some time after suffering a fracture in his lower leg, according to Dawgs HQ.

Hall is aiming to be ready for the start of the 2024 season, per DawgsHQ. However, he will miss several weeks with the injury.

“DawgsHQ has learned that Hall has suffered a fracture of some sort in his lower leg that will cause him to miss the next few weeks,” DawgsHQ posted. “Persons with knowledge of the situation say that Hall is aiming to be healthy by the start of the 2024 football season.”

The 2024 season opener is a huge one for Georgia as the Bulldogs will face Clemson on Saturday, Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. and the game will be televised by ABC.
