Coming into the final days of June, Georgia continues to sit atop the On3 Industry Football Team Recruiting Rankings with the nation’s No. 1 class.

The Bulldogs have a pair of five-stars already committed and have opened up a sizable lead over Ohio State, which currently sits in a distant second. But Kirby Smart and Co. have some significant holes in their offensive line class, with only two commits thus far from three-stars Marcus Harrison and Malachi Toliver. That could be changing very soon though, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

The Bulldogs are now considered the favorites to land four of the nation’s top offensive line prospects, all of whom have commitment dates set between June 30 and July 8. Should they land all four, it would push UGA to 25 commits this cycle with a couple of major names still on the board.

“The big thing for Georgia in this cycle is they were going in to get bigger,” On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons said. “They wanted to get big and physical guys who can wear you down in the second half and let the defense go to work. They really targeted that in this class, even more so than what they’ve done in the last few classes. With the guys they have committed and the guys they’re trending for, they have size and strength written all over them.

… And they’ve used all their resources on this, whether that’s Fran Brown‘s connections up in New Jersey or Stacy Searels and his ability to build relationships and trust with these guys outside of the state. They’ve put themselves in a great spot to land one of the top offensive line units in this cycle.”

4-star IOL Daniel Calhoun

School: Roswell (Ga.) Walton
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 116
On3 RPM: Georgia 85.7%, Alabama 5.0%, Auburn 3.0%

The Skinny: Daniel Calhoun is ready to take the final step in his recruitment. On Thursday, Calhoun said he will commit on July 5 and will choose between Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. He took official visits to all five in the month of June, and while the Crimson Tide and Longhorns especially put up a good fight, Georgia looks to be in prime position to keep him home.

4-star OT Nyier Daniels

School: Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 161
On3 RPM: Georgia 96.8%, Rutgers 1.0%

The Skinny: Speaking of big humans, Nyier Daniels is exactly that, checking in at 6-foot-7 and over 350 pounds. Georgia’s pursuit, and especially the connections of Fran Brown, appear to be paying off as Daniels is scheduled to announce July 7 with the Bulldogs trending heavily.

4-star OT Michael Uini

School: Copperas Cove (Texas)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 150
On3 RPM: Georgia 75.4%, Michigan 19.6%

The Skinny: Massive 6-foot-7, 335-pound Michael Uini entered this month with six schools on his list. Clemson, Florida and Texas are out, according to On3’s Chad Simmons. After the official visits, Uini is down to Alabama, Georgia and Michigan. He took an official visit to Ann Arbor on the weekend of June 16, and the Wolverines moved the top of his list. But after visits to Tuscaloosa and Athens this past week, it appears to be a showdown between the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs.

4-star OT Marques Easley

School: Kankakee (Ill.)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 241
On3 RPM: Georgia 78.9%, Tennessee 4.4%, Alabama 3.8%, Oklahoma 3.2%

The Skinny: Earlier this month, Marques Easley named Alabama, Oklahoma and Tennessee as his top three schools, but it’s Georgia who is trending ahead of his decision on July 8. The Bulldogs hosted him the first weekend of June and have been talked about as a major contender leading up to him dropping his top three. It appears Stacy Searels and Co. are poised to pull off the upset.
