JT Daniels already has Name, Image and Likeness deals with Zaxby’s and clothing apparel company Rhoback. Daniels, Georgia‘s starting quarterback, has signed a six-figure NIL deal with Super Glow Trading Cards, per ABC’s Dan Murphy.

Daniels is joined in this NIL deal by North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell. Each player will have different designs on trading cards, and will earn money for each signed card.

“Daniels and UNC quarterback Sam Howell partnered with Super Glow Trading Cards to create roughly two dozen different designs for each player,” Murphy said. “The arrangement will pay each quarterback $100 for every card they sign as well as a 50% royalty fee for every one – with or without a signature – that is sold. The substantial royalty fees are rare, if not unprecedented, in the trading card industry, according to the players’ agent.”

Daniels’ guarantee could turn into seven figures by January

These cards will cost anywhere from $15 to $1,000. Some cards will be signed by Daniels and will include part of his high school jersey. Daniels’ Super Glow deal is currently set to run through the end of the calendar year.

The financial guarantee for Daniels is significant with Super Glow. That guarantee could increase depending on how Daniels and Georgia perform during the 2021 college football season.

“Both guys have a significant six-figure guarantee,” agent Dan Everett said. “If they’re playing well and their teams do well, this could turn into a seven-figure opportunity by the end of January.”

Daniels, Georgia won a close game against Clemson on Saturday night

Georgia’s offense struggled in the season opener, but the Bulldogs still came away with a 10-3 victory over Clemson. Daniels threw for 135 yards and an interception, completing 22 of his 30 pass attempts. Georgia’s offense out-gained Clemson 256-180.

Daniels did not let Georgia’s lack of offensive production take away from the excitement of starting the season with a big win.

“No, not one bit,” Daniels said when asked if there was any disappointment despite coming way victorious. “They did a lot of things they haven’t shown to do too much, and I think they did a great job executing that scheme and making us take what’s there. We have to do that a little bit better.

“But in terms of do I have a half and half feeling? Hell no. We just beat Clemson. I’m happy.”

Just a day after he helped Georgia to victory, Daniels has yet another lucrative NIL deal.
