Georgia is likely going to be shorthanded for Saturday’s massive showdown against Tennessee. Jake Rowe of On3’s DawgsHQ provided the Bulldogs’ injury report for the game, and multiple statuses are still up in the air.

It’s no surprise that linebacker Nolan Smith will miss the game. He underwent surgery for a pectoral muscle injury, On3’s Matt Zenitz first reported, and will likely miss the year. The defense will also be down C.J. Washington as he deals with a neck injury, Rowe reported. It’s not all bad news for the Georgia linebacker room, though, as Chaz Chambliss appears in line to play in the game.

Wide receiver A.D. Mitchell is listed as doubtful as he deals with a high ankle sprain. However, Rowe didn’t entirely rule him out.

“We won’t be shocked if he plays but it won’t be much if he does,” Rowe wrote.

Here’s Georgia’s full expected injury report vs. Tennessee, according to DawgsHQ.

Georgia and Tennessee are preparing to square off in the biggest game of the year so far. Both teams are in the top-three of the College Football Playoff rankings — Tennessee at No. 1 and Georgia at No 3. That means the matchup will have not only massive SEC implications, but will also have a ripple effect on a national scale, as well.

The game kicks off Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET from Sanford Stadium in Athens.
