Georgia linebacker EJ Lightsey enters NCAA Transfer Portal

Georgia linebacker EJ Lightsey officially entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned. He recorded three total tackles during his two seasons as a Bulldog.

George Edward Lightsey, who goes by EJ, played high school at local Fitzgerald (GA) High, where he was a three-star recruit in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated as the No. 487 overall recruit and the No. 49 linebacker for his cycle. Lightsey was even named a MaxPreps Small Town All-America Football First Team selection back in 2021.
