Move over Alabama, there’s a new NFL favorite in town. The Georgia Bulldogs landed a nationwide high of 14 invites for former players in this year’s NFL draft combine.

Behind the national champs in the invite count are Alabama and Oklahoma with 11. Last year, it was actually Ohio State that led the nation’s top programs with 14 invitees, followed by Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame with 11 each.

That number likely isn’t really realistic, however, the Bulldogs could easily set a program record for most players picked overall, topping last year’s total of nine. LSU (2020) and Ohio State (2004) are tied for the all-time record of 14 players selected.

Lucas Oil Stadium has good juju going for the Bulldogs. They won the program’s first title in four decades in Indianapolis last month. After the combine, they’ll have another opportunity to showcase their skills in front of scouts at Georgia’s Pro Day, likely taking place on March 16th.
