The long and winding road that is former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett’s path to the NFL combine and 2023 NFL Draft has taken another turn. Bennett has retained an agent and signed with the Steinberg Sports firm.

According to a report from Sports Business Journal, Bennett will be repped by the firms CEO, Chris Cabott. According to Cabott, Bennett will participate and throw at the NFL combine at the end of February and beginning of March.

Bennett was recently arrested for public intoxication in the Dallas area after he was reportedly knocking on doors in the wee hours of the morning. That arrest was the culmination for plenty of speculation that he actually didn’t want to be an NFL quarterback or similar flavors of rumor and innuendo.

And while he still hasn’t released any official public statement since the arrest, it is now seemingly evident that he’ll be moving forward in the draft process.
