Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken was unable to contain his excitement after the Bulldogs scored a two-point conversion to reach the 50-point mark in the SEC Championship Game against LSU.
After Kenny McIntosh punched in an eight-year touchdown, the Bulldogs busted out some trickery on the two-point conversion. Quarterback Stetson Bennett handed the ball off to receiver AD Mitchell on an end around, who completed the pass to tight end Darnell Washington to put Georgia up 50-23.
The broadcast then panned up to Monken in the box, who was seen fist pumping and emphatically high fiving with other Bulldogs coaches in celebration.
LSU managed to score once more after the touchdown and two-point conversion for Georgia, making the final score 50-30. The win means that the Bulldogs claim their first SEC Championship since 2017, and now turn their attention toward the College Football Playoff, where they’ll look to repeat as champions.

LSU lined up for a 32-yard field goal on their second drive of the game, but a Georgia defender got a hand on it. As the LSU field goal unit started to wander toward the sideline and examine where the ball went, the Georgia field goal block unit ran to the ball and eventually defensive back Christopher Smith picked it up and returned it to the house for a touchdown.
As Smith picked up the ball, the CBS broadcast caught Monken waving his hands in the booth as if in disagreement, only to hilariously change his tune moments later when he saw Smith racing toward the end zone.
The blocked field goal touchdown would only be the beginning of the first half scoring for Todd Monken and Georgia. The Bulldogs went on to further pile it on with four touchdown passes from quarterback Stetson Bennett and held a 35-10 lead at halftime.
