Georgia safety Javon Bullard declares for 2024 NFL Draft
Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Javon Bullard has declared for the NFL Draft. He made the announcement on Instagram.
Bullard played three seasons at Georgia. During that time, the Bulldogs won two national championships and are coming off a massive Orange Bowl win over Florida State. During those three seasons, Bullard made 114 total tackles, eight of which were tackles for a loss. He had four interceptions and eight passes defended during his career as well.
“Foremost, I want to give thanks to God for blessing me with my abilities to play the game of football. I will forever value the past few years during my time at the University of Georgia and am forever honored to have represented the G. Mom and Dad, thank you for always supporting me and for the sacrifices that you made for me. Without y’all, I would not be the man I am today,” Bullard wrote.
Bullard then continued on, thanking his coaches, teammates, and the Georgia fans before finally declaring for the NFL Draft.
“With that being said, I am excited to start the next chapter of my life. I will officially be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”
A former three-star recruit in the 2021 cycle, Javon Bullard was the 526th-ranked overall recruit, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Now, he’s moving on to be a defensive back in the NFL.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan, with the first round on Thursday, April 25, the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 27.

Players will have the opportunity to solidify their draft stock at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.
The three-day event will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on ESPN and NFL Network.
To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must be at least three years removed from their final year of high school while having used up their collegiate eligibility. Underclassmen are able to request league approval to become eligible for the draft, as are players who have graduated prior to using up all of their collegiate eligibility.
Last season, 69 players were granted special eligibility for the 2023 NFL Draft. 13 underclassmen who had completed their college degrees were also deemed eligible to be selected.
The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. NFL teams will receive a full list of eligible players in the class on January 19.
