Georgia trending for 4-star DL Joseph Jonah-Ajonye
Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge four-star defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye took his first visits to Georgia on May 20. That unofficial visit went so well that Jonah-Ajonye went ahead and scheduled an official visit with the Bulldogs for June 23.
With a few weeks to go until that official, the Bulldogs have taken a commanding lead for Jonah-Ajonye according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
Following expert predictions from National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman and Oklahoma recruiting insider Josh McCuistion, the Bulldogs now sit with a 93.1% chance to land Jonah-Ajonye’s pledge. McCuistion put his pick in with a confidence level of 70% while Spiegelman’s was at 65%.
“It was way better than what I expected,” Jonah-Ajonye told DawgsHQ following the May visit. “I loved it there. It was really fun. I learned a lot. So me and Coach (Tray) Scott, we watched film and he taught me a lot about my position that I didn’t even know in just a couple of minutes. I felt like a better football player than I was already. So just imagine what three or four years would be if I went to Georgia. So that’s why I really loved it.”
The 6-foot-4.5, 270-pounder is the No. 55 overall prospect and No. 9 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 player in Texas.

Landing Jonah-Ajonye would be another massive win for Georgia
A pledge from Jonah-Ajonye would add on to what’s already been a historic class for Georgia. The Bulldogs have the No. 1 class in the country with 17 pledges so far.
Of those 17 pledges, nine are ranked in the top-100 and three more are top-200 prospects.
The class is headlined by a pair of five-star prospects in Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Dylan Raiola, the No. 1 overall player in the country, and IMG Academy cornerback Ellis Robinson IV.
Aside from Robinson, the Bulldogs have five more four-star defensive pledges in Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County School linebacker Demarcus Riddick, Rockledge (Fla.) safety Jaylen Heyward, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco safety Peyton Woodyard, Swainsboro (Ga.) cornerback Demello Jones and Lawrenceville (Ga.) Mountain View defensive lineman Justin Greene.
