Following a flurry of expert predictions, Georgia trends as the overwhelming favorite in the recruitment of Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) four-star offensive tackle Nyier Daniels, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

The Bulldogs currently stand with a 96.8% chance to receive Daniels’ commitment per the RPM. On3 National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton, Blue White Illustrated’s Sean Fitz, DawgsHQ’s Jake Rowe and Warchant’s Michael Langston all entered expert predictions in favor of Georgia following Daniels’ official visit to Athens.

Georgia visit was a ’10’

“(It was) a 10,” Daniels told DawgsHQ after his visit. “What made it a 10 was that they showed me what was the point such as what could be done if I slipped the Georgia shoe on, like the development and the places I could go by becoming a Bulldog.”

On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons placed an expert prediction the morning of Independence Day with a confidence level of 60% that Daniels will choose the Bulldogs.

“They’re recruiting me very hard,” Daniels said in June. “I have a good relationship with everybody on the Georgia staff but mostly Fran Brown and coach Searels. It’s been good getting to know them. I love those guys.”

The 6-foot-7.5, 371-pound offensive tackle also took official visits to Florida State and Rutgers during June after unofficially visiting Penn State in the spring.

Daniels currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $79K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Daniels announcing commitment July 7

If Daniels were to choose Georgia come Friday, he would be the 17th blue-chip prospect to commit to the Bulldogs in the 2024 cycle — joining fellow offensive tackle, Copperas Cove (Texas) four-star Michael Uini and Walton (Roswell, Ga.) four-star interior offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun.

Elsewhere along the offensive line in this class are St. Francis (Athol, N.Y.) three-star offensive tackle Marcus Harrison and Cartersville (Ga.) three-star offensive tackle Malachi Toliver.
