Georgia wide receiver Tyler Williams plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Williams has submitted the necessary paperwork to enter the portal, he said.

Williams, entering his redshirt freshman season this fall, was a top recruit in the 2023 signing class. He was the No. 68 overall player in the class, according to On3’s own rankings.

As a true freshman, Williams appeared in just two games for the Bulldogs.

Williams played high school football at Lakeland (Fla.) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 91 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Another talented, young Bulldog is set to hit the portal

Georgia running back Andrew Paul plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Paul spent two seasons with the Bulldogs.

Paul redshirted his true freshman season after suffering a knee injury in the preseason. However, in the 2023 campaign, Paul made seven appearances as a reserve RB. In his limited time on the field, Paul tallied 129 rushing yards and a touchdown on 29 carries.

Andrew Paul played high school football at Parish Episcopal School (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 432 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“He’s really improved tremendously at his pass pro, picking people up. He’s thick, he’s heavy. We’ve got some guys that we feel like are different than him in terms of weapons,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said about Paul last season. “We feel like Andrew has done a good job and continues to improve.”

Smart wasn’t the only one who spoke highly of Paul.

“Being with Andrew since he came in, first thing I was super happy just to be able to see him playing because last camp was when everything kind of went downhill and then he started coming back up and seeing him put the work in. With the ACL, it’s not the easiest to come back from because there’s a lot of things in the back of your head. But he’s been pushing every single day,” Kendall Milton said.

“His development has just went through the roof. Every day he continues to work hard, continues to get better. Like I said, he asked me and Daijun what can he do better on certain plays ’cause he’s just one of those people that he’s always striving to be great or always trying to find that little niche to take his game to the next level.”
