Fans of Georgia Bulldogs football, man, does Mark Richt have a stat for you. While some are debating which college football programs deliver the best NFL talent, Georgia is the most consistent when it comes to this postseason stat.

Former legendary Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt revealed a truly eye-popping streak that is guaranteed to continue this season. Richt took to Twitter to highlight that Georgia currently has the best streak of all college football programs to feature a player in the Super Bowl, at 20 years and counting.

“With Deandre Baker and Mecole Hardman w/ the Chiefs, Trey Hill w/ the Bengals and Charlie Woerner w/ the 49ers Along with the Rams all winning this weekend assures that Georgia will continue its streak of players on Super Bowl rosters. 21 straight! Best in the nation.Go Dawgs!” said Richt.

As Richt, said the streak is guaranteed to continue with at least one Georgia player on each of the remaining teams.

Burton announced he would be transferring to Alabama on Sunday afternoon. After being on the winning side of the national championship during the 2021 season, Burton will now be trying to get revenge on his former team with the Crimson Tide.

According to the On3 Transfer Rankings, Burton is ranked as the No. 5 player currently in the NCAA Transfer Portal in the current cycle.

Alabama and Georgia don’t play each other in the regular season next year, and it is rare in football that they do so. But if both teams repeat as division champions and face off in the SEC championship game again, Burton move adds sprinkles to an already exciting game.
