NFL insider: Stetson Bennett's pre-draft schedule includes workouts with 10 NFL teams

Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett isn’t a projected first-round draft pick but he’s still going to be one of the busiest prospects leading up to the draft next month.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Bennett has workouts and/or visits with 10 teams scheduled between now and the draft on April 27.
“One of the busiest NFL Draft prospects since the combine: Georgia QB Stetson Bennett, whose schedule so far includes private visits and/or workouts with 10 teams, per sources,” Pelissero shared. “Bennett won consecutive national titles with the Bulldogs and was a Heisman finalist last season.”
Following his workouts at the scouting combine, Bennett earned a fourth-round projection from ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. He is currently the No. 10 best-available quarterback on ESPN’s big board.
“Bennett’s college production isn’t in question; he completed 68.3% of his passes with 27 touchdowns and seven picks in 2022,” Kiper said. “The question is more about his frame, as he measured just under 5-foot-11 — a little taller than Bryce Young — and his arm strength.
“He throws the ball hard, but can he consistently connect on a deep out down the field? An arrest for public intoxication in January didn’t help his stock in the eyes of front-office execs. Bennett also will turn 26 as a rookie. Still, he’s in the Round 4 range on my board, and I think he’ll have a long NFL career.”

Bennett went from walk-on to two-time national champion with the Bulldogs. He beat out five-star quarterbacks on the way to the top and his winner’s mentality has several NFL teams paying attention.
He improved year-over-year for Georgia and after successful showings at the combine and Pro Day, his stock is rising even higher. Bennett also has considering game tape playing in an NFL-friendly pro-style offense. That will help scouts better envision him playing at the next level.
