Jacksonville (Fla.) Westside four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall is officially down to 10 schools in his recruitment, which he named back in July.
Hall told On3 earlier last month that he plans to name a top six by the end of October, but one school has even furthered its big lead in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) after this weekend.
Following an expert pick from Warchant.com’s Michael Langston, Georgia holds an 86.3 percent chance of securing Hall’s commitment. Langston’s pick comes after On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons put a pick in favor of the Bulldogs in early August. Georgia hosted Hall this weekend for an unofficial visit.
“I think it’s self-explanatory, feels like a home away from home,” Hall told Simmons last month. “It’s where I’m from. I was born there. And the love there I’ve been shown and everything I see since Day 1 coming there. Some of the coaches were a little iffy with me coming as a recruit the first time because I’m coming from this little hole-in-the-wall school, but I made my name for myself. I grinded, played my butt off and they’ve loved me ever since.
… Coach [Tray] Scott, he made it a point to see me. This spring, there was only two players he went to go see twice. And I know out of all people that are in my recruitment, the one coach that came to see me twice out of everybody was Coach Scott. That speaks volumes. Coach Smart is always on me hard, not even talking about football all the time. … They connect with me on all bases, probably going to be a big, big school in my recruitment outside of Florida. I love the school, I love being around the players.”

Jordan Hall Recruiting Profile
Hall is the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 9 defensive lineman and the No. 23 senior recruit in Florida.
On3 is significantly higher on him than the other recruiting services though, per the Industry Comparison. In the most recent On300 rankings, Hall was tabbed as the No. 26 overall prospect nationally, just outside of five-star status.
Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power writes this about Jordan Hall as a recruit:
“Explosive defensive lineman who has one of the best first steps in the 2023 cycle. Explodes into the backfield in a split second, blowing up plays in the backfield. Shows outstanding short area burst, closing on quarterbacks and running backs. Uses active hands at the line of scrimmage and employs an effective swim move. Looks to have long arms, which aid in his ability as a violent finisher behind the line. Has the play speed to track down plays from the backside. Put together some of the best junior season video among defensive tackles in the 2023 cycle. Played well when facing top competition. Will benefit from time in a college strength program.”
