As much grief as Georgia has received about their schedule, it’s finally beginning to pick up. Missouri should be a good test for Kirby Smart‘s team, with the SEC East potentially being on the line. Playing at Sanford Stadium will certainly help, with the fanbase getting up for the game.

Unfortunately for Mizzou, T-Bob Hebert does not give them much of a chance. From a pure roster standpoint, Hebert says Georgia is better at every single position, except maybe one.

“I think Georgia rolls,” Hebert said during Thursday’s episode of Andy Staples On3. “I love Mizzou. I just don’t see where they have the advantage. Yes, Luther Burden, you could say, is better than anybody Georgia has but then everybody after that is better than Mizzou has.”

Things would maybe be different if Brock Bowers was playing. He is still dealing with an ankle injury and was never going to be back in time to play against Missouri. If Bowers was on the field, he would undoubtedly be the badest man out there.

Cody Schrader was another quality player for the Tigers Hebert mentioned. After all, he has the second-most rushing yards and the most rushing touchdowns in the SEC.

So, what if Missouri does wind up beating Georgia? Hebert admits Eli Drinkwitz would deserve a lot of credit for rolling into Athens and getting a win. But there would be some serious questions for Smart, with everything really being in his team’s favor heading into the matchup.

“If Mizzou does win this game, massive, massive credit to Eli Drinkwitz,” Hebert said. “And a massive L for Kirby Smart because there is no excuse for losing it. Like, you’re a 15-point favorite for a reason. You’re more talented in every single position group and you’re at home.”

Hebert also mentioned how last year’s game may have been close because Georgia did not give 100% focus on Missouri. They had to squeak out of Columbia with a four-point win. Well, after the scare, plus the fact that the Tigers are ranked No. 12 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, Smart is going to have his team ready to go.

At the very least, the oddsmakers agree with Hebert. Georgia will walk onto the field over a two-touchdown favorite, expected to take care of business against Missouri. But as they say, the games are played for a reason and anything can happen.
