Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis got his opportunity to become a do-it-all athlete Saturday afternoon, rushing for a touchdown with the Bulldogs’ offense. The big man touchdown made rounds on social media and television broadcasts as people celebrated the rare feat. Meanwhile, quarterback Stetson Bennett’s mind was elsewhere.

“Hopefully nobody took a picture right when I was handing him the ball because I looked really small,” Bennett told The Athletic’s Seth Emerson after the game.

Stetson Bennett and Jordan Davis both celebrated Senior Day with a 56-7 rout over Charleston Southern. The players and fans all celebrated the big win after the game.

Jordan Davis scores touchdown

Jordan Davis can do it all for the Georgia Bulldogs. He has made his mark on the defensive side of the ball this year, becoming one of the best interior defensive linemen in college football. But on Saturday against Charleston Southern, Davis tried his hand on the offensive side of things.

With Georgia two yards away from the end zone, Davis came into the game. Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett handed the ball to Jordan Davis on second and goal, and the big man came up a yard short. But on his second attempt, Davis powered his way through, finding the end zone for the historic touchdown. The score gave Georgia an early 7-0 lead over Charleston Southern.

Now in his senior season with Georgia, Davis has really made a massive impact this year. On the season, Davis has 23 tackles and two sacks, but his true impact doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet. He is a massive body on the defensive front, and he excels in stopping the run. Davis is likely to become a first round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Jordan Davis directs band

Jordan Davis will never forget this year’s Georgia Bulldogs Senior Day victory. Georgia had no issues against Charleston Southern, easily walking away with a 56-7 victory. At the end of the win, Davis could be seen standing in front of Georgia’s band and directing them.

Davis had a memorable day, and leading the band will be just one of many memories he made in Georgia’s win. With the game scoreless early on, Davis got his chance on offense. Georgia was on the two-yard line, and Davis got two rushing attempts. The second attempt was enough to find the end zone, giving the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead.
