That is it. It is officially the end of Stetson Bennett’s college football career. With the Georgia Bulldogs in complete control of the national championship game, leading TCU 52-7, head coach Kirby Smart has elected to pull his star quarterback for the remainder of the game. As Bennett walked off the field for what will be his last time ever as a college quarterback, he received a standing ovation from the fans in attendance for the title game at So-Fi stadium.

In the video below, you can hear the ovation Bennett got after successfully leading Georgia to back-to-back national championships. You’ll also get to see the moment he shared with Smart as the two embraced while exiting the field.

Bennett and the Bulldogs left very little doubt in anybody’s mind just who were the top dogs of the season and the College Football Playoff. His night has come to an end after yet another stalwart performance under the bright lights when it matters the most. Bennett’s night ended with him completing 18 to 25 pass attempts for 304 yards passing and accounting for six total touchdowns — four passing and two rushing. His favorite target on the night was Georgia star tight end, Brock Bowers. Bowers hauled in seven catches for 152 yards and one touchdown.

Georgia trolls TCU with “Hypnodawg” video in third quarter of title game

As TCU rattled off a run to the College Football Playoff national championship, the “Hypnotoad” took social media by storm. The Horned Frogs would tweet a video with of the “Hypnotoad” after every victory, and it became a fan favorite across college football.

So when Georgia jumped out to a commanding 45-7 lead over TCU Monday night, the Bulldogs didn’t waste an opportunity to troll their opponent — not even waiting until after the game to do so.

Georgia football’s Twitter account tweeted the “HypnoDAWG” as the Bulldogs were in the midst of their rout of the Horned Frogs at SoFi Stadium. It was exactly what you’d expect.
