WATCH: Georgia fans hilariously react to Kelee Ringo's game-sealing pick-six
The Georgia Bulldogs finally ended their 40 plus year drought without a national championship in college football. And what makes this win all the more sweeter is it came against a team that has been a thorn in their side, the Alabama Crimson Tide.
One of the biggest plays of the night was the pick-six by Kelee Ringo. That play caused an eruption of celebration from Bulldogs fans across the country. And those fans shared those moments with the university, who turned around and made this montage of fan celebrations.
From their living rooms to outdoor watch parties and even watch parties at local movie theaters, it is clear to see fans loved the play made by their freshman defensive back. The joy and excitement from Georgia fans in the video is a feel, and we are grateful they shared it with all of us.
Ringo’s pick-six
After creating some breathing room with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, the Bulldogs iced the game with another touchdown on defense.
Down by eight, Alabama was moving the ball down the field to get into position to possibly tie the game. But on a third and 10, from the Georgia 44 yard line, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young made an untimely mistake. Young launched a ball deep down the left side of the field, unfortunately, there must have been some kind of miscommunication on the play as the ball was thrown short of the deepest receiver and right into the hands of Kelee Ringo. Ringo took the ball and shot downfield with a convoy of blockers all the way down to the end zone for the pick 6. But most importantly giving the Bulldogs a 15 point lead with less than a minute to go in the game.

Bennett on the pick-six
Kelee Ringo‘s pick-six in the national championship game on Monday night will go down as arguably the most memorable play of this college football season. The play sealed Georgia’s championship, and resulted in some heartfelt and iconic reactions from head coach Kirby Smart, quarterback Stetson Bennett, and many others.
After the game, Bennett was asked about the iconic moment, which led to a very emotional response from him on the sidelines with the victory all but secured.
Prior to Ringo’s heroic play, Bennett was getting the offense prepared to go back out and score again.
“My moment was – so we go down, we score a touchdown,” Bennett said when asked what his favorite moment from the championship was. “We get the ball back. We go down. We’re up by eight. They get the ball back, and I’m walking on the sideline.
