The Georgia Bulldogs won the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship for a reason. They were absolutely stacked with NFL talent all over the place. On Saturday night, plenty of the former Bulldogs’ defensive linemen are showing out in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, including their former defensive end, Travon Walker. He was recently listed in Bruce Feldman’s list of freaks and tonight, he showed why.
Listed at 6-foot-5, 272-pounds, Walker ran an official 40-yard dash time of 4.51.
The unofficial time was listed at 4.59, but it was corrected. His official time was clocked at 4.51. Standing at 6-foot-5, 272 pounds, his arms were measured at 35.5 inches, and he also posted a vertical jump of 35.5 inches.

The Georgia Bulldogs were stacked with talent this year and that likely won’t change anytime in the near future with head coach Kirby Smart around in Athens.
Travon Walker was a highly touted prospect
Coming out of high school, Walker was rated as a five-star prospect, according to the 2019 On3 Consensus Rankings. He is a native of Thomaston, GA, and was the fourth highest-rated prospect within the state. Walker selected Georgia over the likes of Auburn and North Carolina, ending his collegiate career as a national champion.
On3’s Charles Power noted on Twitter on Saturday evening just how much he has grown as a prospect since his high school days. His 40-yard dash time went from 4.94 to 4.60 in a few years.
