Georgia is currently on a bye week. As a result, multiple Bulldogs staffers are hitting the recruiting trail. Head coach Kirby Smart is in Florida, and arrived to the Sunshine State in style.

Smart took a helicopter to the game of Jacksonville (Fla.) Westside four-star defensive lineman Jordan Hall, a top Georgia target. Hall was last in Athens on Oct. 8.

The 6-foot-3.5, 310 pound prospect is taking an official visit to Alabama this weekend. But before Hall arrives in Tuscaloosa, Smart has another chance to showcase the Bulldogs’ interest in Hall.

“I think it’s self-explanatory, feels like a home away from home,” Hall told On3’s Chad Simmons in September about Georgia. “It’s where I’m from. I was born there. And the love there I’ve been shown and everything I see since Day 1 coming there. Some of the coaches were a little iffy with me coming as a recruit the first time because I’m coming from this little hole-in-the-wall school, but I made my name for myself. I grinded, played my butt off and they’ve loved me ever since.

… (Defensive line) coach (Tray) Scott, he made it a point to see me. This spring, there was only two players he went to go see twice. And I know out of all people that are in my recruitment, the one coach that came to see me twice out of everybody was Coach Scott. That speaks volumes. Coach Smart is always on me hard, not even talking about football all the time. … They connect with me on all bases, probably going to be a big, big school in my recruitment outside of Florida. I love the school, I love being around the players.”

Hall is the No. 102 overall prospect and No. 10 defensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 23 player in Florida.

On3 rates Hall higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2023 On300, Hall is the No. 26 overall prospect, No. 4 defensive lineman and No. 6 player in Florida.

Jordan Hall On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Jordan Hall:

“Explosive defensive lineman who has one of the best first steps in the 2023 cycle. Explodes into the backfield in a split second, blowing up plays in the backfield. Shows outstanding short area burst, closing on quarterbacks and running backs. Uses active hands at the line of scrimmage and employs an effective swim move. Looks to have long arms, which aid in his ability as a violent finisher behind the line. Has the play speed to track down plays from the backside. Put together some of the best junior season video among defensive tackles in the 2023 cycle. Played well when facing top competition. Will benefit from time in a college strength program.”

Hall has an On3 NIL Valuation of $114K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
