WATCH: Kirby Smart at high school football game in Georgia
Georgia continues its 2022 season against Vanderbilt tomorrow. Before the Bulldogs take the field, head coach Kirby Smart went out on the recruiting trail.
Smart is attending tonight’s game between Buford (Ga.) and Norcross (Ga.) Mill Creek, which contains two of the state’s top players: Buford four-star running back Justice Haynes and Mill Creek five-star safety Caleb Downs. Both prospects are currently committed to Alabama.
Other targets of the Bulldogs will be on the field tonight. That list includes Buford five-star safety KJ Bolden, the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2024 On3 Consensus, and Buford 2024 top-50 EDGE KingJoseph Edwards. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia is leading for both Bolden and Edwards.
