The Georgia Bulldogs turned to Peach State native and country music star Thomas Rhett to bring the juice for their Week 11 hype video. The No. 1-ranked Bulldogs travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a dance with the 5-4 Volunteers.
“Step by step, we move,” Rhett starts. “Game by game, we work. It’s not coach speak, it’s a mindset. Reaching your goals is like climbing a mountain. It’s a journey towards that goal, towards the summit. Driven by a desire to stand on that summit. And here we are, still climbing higher. Still stepping towards that goal.
“Every Saturday is a new mountain to conquer. The next step in our trek leads us to good ol’ Rocky Top. And we’ve seen this mountain before.
“These dogs climb with purpose, with fire in their eyes,” Rhett finishes. “These dogs? Yeah, they’re some savages.”
Thomas Rhett was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. He’s won Country Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year and many more awards over the course of almost a decade.
The undefeated Georgia Bulldogs claimed the top spot again this week, making them unanimous across the AP poll, coaches’ poll and CFP rankings. Georgia’s dominance appears one thing all analysts can agree on this season, leaving little doubt on top of any rankings.
Kirby Smart’s defense is giving up just 6.6 points, 80 rushing yards and 150 passing yards per game.
The Dawgs are coming off of a 43-6 beatdown of Missouri and they have Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech left on the schedule after the Tennessee game. The kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Smart: Tennessee is a huge rivalry game for Georgia
Kirby Smart believes Tennessee is a huge rivalry game for his Georgia Bulldogs. While it may not be the premier rivalry for either squad, Smart believes it’s still one that gets the juices flowing.
In his press conference earlier this week, Smart detailed that while Tennessee and Georgia have all kinds of rivals, it’s must-see when the two schools face-off.
“It’s a rivalry game,” stated Smart. “We’ve said it for years. Tennessee has all kinds of rivals, and we have all kinds of rivals. It’s a unique part of being in the SEC. Tennessee and Georgia is one of those.
“It’s been one at times that’s been lopsided. I know when I played here it was lopsided their way, we could never beat them. They’ve had ups and downs.”
As Smart mentioned, the Bulldogs never defeated the Volunteers while he was a player at Georgia. However, he’s had better luck as a coach — winning four consecutive games with Georgia over Tennessee.
