Zion Logue addresses culture questions surrounding Georgia
After a handful of off the field issues rot the Georgia Bulldogs football program during the season and off season, questions have begun to arise about the culture surrounding the team. Current Bulldogs offensive lineman, Zion Logue, took some time recently to address his team’s culture and Georgia’s plan moving forward.
“The culture is still growing, man,” said Logue. “And it’s a beautiful thing to walk around these buildings; walk through these halls at the University of Georgia. Coming from the inside, when people question our culture and question our character, it’s kind of like a slap in the face sometimes. But we know that comes with it. We just have to keep working and put our best foot forward. And we’re just going to keep showing that we’re one of those top teams in the country.”
After finishing last season undefeated and capturing back-to-back national championships, Georgia’s name was in the headlines a handful of times for some not-so-glorious reasons. Former star quarterback Stetson Bennett, was arrested for public intoxication in Dallas, TX. Georgia then had to deal with the deaths of offensive lineman Devin Willock and team staffer Chandler LeCroy, where excessive speeding was ruled as a contributor to the accident that claimed their lives. And former star defensive lineman Jalen Carter faces charges relating to that tragic and fatal accident.
Logue and the current rostered Bulldogs players would like to move on from the notion that their program has character or culture issues. Added to their list of goals for the upcoming season is to change that narrative in the minds of college football fans across the country.

Originally, Milton suffered a hamstring injury early on during spring drills, but it turns out the perceived minor injury is more serious than originally thought, and the star running back will miss the rest of the spring, according to DawgsHQ.
However, the report from Jake Rowe of DawgsHQ did provide some positive news as well, as it’s expected that Milton will recover swiftly, and be ready for preseason camp.
“Sources tell DawgsHQ that he is expected to make a full recover and in time for preseason camp,” wrote Rowe. “It’s a tough injury for Milton, who has battled injuries in each of his four years at UGA.
“He made the decision before the 2022 season was over that he would be coming back for one final season in red and black. The California native is expected to be the Bulldogs’ feature running back.”
