Saturday’s matchup between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Georgia Bulldogs will Answer the age-old question: what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Tennessee’s offense this year has been unstoppable for opposing defenses. However, those defenses are not Georgia’s, AKA the immovable object.

For the second season in a row, the Bulldogs’ defense has suffocated opposing offenses and has dominated early and often. One of those key contributors on defense has been defensive lineman Zion Logue who is excited to face off against this Volunteers’ offense. As the Bulldogs prepare for Saturday’s matchup, Logue gave some insight into his mindset entering the matchup.

“It’s a great challenge for us, you know. The tempo; we’re not going to let that affect us. We gotta play our game and just stick to the things we’ve been taught all season and just play football,” said Logue.

“In the bye week, we were trying to focus on Florida and not looking ahead,” said Logue when asked if Georgia prepared for the speed of Tennessee’s offense during the bye week. “I wouldn’t say we’ve honed in on it a lot, but we’re probably doing it a little bit this week. But we’re just gonna stick to playing football.”

Logue and the Georgia defense have the opportunity to do something no other team has been able to do this season and lock down the Volunteers’ offense. If not all the way, at least enough to hand Tennessee their first loss of the season. Doing that will no doubt make the Bulldogs the favorite to appear in the SEC championship game and the College Football Playoff.
