“First, I want to thank the Georgia Tech staff and RB Coach Mike Daniels for the opportunity,” Engleman wrote on Twitter. “After much prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided to decommit from Georgia Tech and re-open my recruitment. This is a decision that I do not take lightly, but I only get to go through this process once and I would like a little more time. Task that everyone respects my decision. God Bless.”

The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder Engleman chose the Yellow Jackets in April over offers from Kentucky, Purdue, Boston College and a handful of other programs. He was the program’s lone commitment in the 2024 cycle.

His decommitment comes after a visit to Purdue this past weekend.
