3-star RB Trey Cornist decommits from Georgia Tech
Cincinnati Winton Woods three-star running back Trey Cornist has decommitted from Georgia Tech, he announced Tuesday on social media.
He originally committed to the school on June 11.
“First and foremost I would like to thank the entire coaching staff at Georgia Tech for all of the love and support you have shown me over the last few months. I has honest meant the world to me, and that is what has made this decision such a tough one for me to make,” Cornist wrote on social media.

Cornist is the No. 1433 overall recruit and No. 99 running back in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.1k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
