Duluth (Ga.) offensive tackle Damola Ajidahun had a long list of offers, but when it came down to schools he focused on, it was Georgia, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss. The No. 254 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking took official visits to each school and after taking some time to consider each option, he has committed to the Yellow Jackets.

“I believe in what coach Key is building,” Ajiduhan told On3. “I like the chemistry I have with the coaches and the players, the resources to be great are there and the stability in the coaching staff is another big thing in my decision.”

Offensive line coach Geep Wade led the way in Ajiduhan’s recruitment. He and coach Key were big factors.

“I get to get coached by two offensive line coaches. Coach Wade is a great coach and he is going to help me a lot. Coach Key used to play my position, and I have been to a few practices where he pulls offensive linemen aside and works with them. It is going to be great. Both are great coaches that care for their players and I know they will push me and want the best for me.”

Ajiduhan sees the perfect fit for him on the Flats

Ajiduhan told the Georgia Tech staff of his decision earlier this week. They had smiles on their faces and Ajiduhan had one on his face too. He just sees this as a perfect fit.

“It was a tough decision, but Georgia Tech is the right school for me,” Ajiduhan said. “It is what is best for me and my family. We laid out the positives of each school and Georgia Tech is the one. They believed in me from the beginning, their coaches have recruited me the hardest and I know they want me.

“The coaches care for their players at Georgia Tech. I will have great support there and their plan sets players up for success. They have all the resources I am looking for.”
