Top 100 EDGE Zachariah Keith feeling good about his Georgia Tech commitment
Geoff Collins and Georgia Tech made some coaching changes Sunday. There will be changes at both coordinator spots for the Yellow Jackets, but 2023 EDGE Zachariah Keith still feels good about his commitment.
The four-star out of Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County ranks no. 95 in the On300 and the 6-foot-4, 241-pound junior is a top commitment for the local program.
Keith committed to coach Collins in June and the feelings have grown over the last five months.
“My feelings about Georgia Tech are way stronger now than they were when I committed,” Keith told On3. “I have been there about four or five times and I love it.
“I have a great feeling at Georgia Tech. It is in the city and I love the environment. It fits me really well. I like the coaches, the students, and the area Georgia Tech is in.”
Defensive ends/outside linebackers coach Marco Coleman played at Georgia Tech before heading to the NFL and he has really connected with Keith. The two communicate almost daily and that relationship has kept the Yellow Jackets in a great spot.
“I have such a strong bond with coach Coleman. We have a different type of bond. Coach Coleman can talk to me about school, girls, life, and so many things.

“We hardly ever talk about football. We have a different connection and he is a big part of my commitment. He is like a father figure to me.”
Georgia Tech still at the top for Zachariah Keith
Keith was back in Atlanta for the Georgia game over the weekend. That was his third game on the Flats this season.
He has half a dozen offers with others, like Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, and Virginia showing interest, but the commitment is still strong.
“I am 100% focused on Georgia Tech right now,” Keith said. “I am not saying I am not looking around a little, but I still feel very good about Georgia Tech.”
