Georgia Tech OT Corey Robinson II enters NCAA transfer portal
Georgia Tech offensive tackle Corey Robinson II entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a post on his Twitter page.
He started his career at Kansas before transferring to Georgia Tech. Now, Robinson will look for his third college stop.
“Dear Georgia Tech, I want to thank you for the opportunity to pursue both my athletic and academic goals at this prestigious institution,” Robinson wrote. “These past three years have been a journey filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable experiences. To my teammates, I’ll forever cherish the memories we’ve made together and the bonds we’ve built. The friendships I’ve formed here are the ones I’ll carry with me for a lifetime, and I appreciate your support in this decision.
“After thoughtful discussions with my family, I have decided to enter the transfer portal on December 9th as a graduate transfer for my final year of eligibility. I look forward to this next chapter of my life and what my future holds.”

As a member of the Class of 2021, Robinson was a three-star recruit out of Roswell (Ga.) High, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 132 overall prospect in the state, the No. 136 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 1,487 overall prospect in the class.
Robinson was a regular starter during his time with the Yellow Jackets after redshirting in 2021 with the Jayhawks prior to his first transfer.
Georgia Tech finished the regular season 7-5 following a 44-42 loss to Georgia in eight overtimes.
