4-star offensive tackle Ian Reed earns Houston offer
Houston has extended an offer to Austin (Texas) Vandegrift four-star offensive tackle Ian Reed.
Reed is the No. 320 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the 18th-best offensive tackle in the country and the No. 57 player in the state of Texas.
Last month, Reed went on a visit to Texas and talked with On3’s Sam Spiegelman about the visit to his hometown college.
“That junior day was very special,” Reed told On3. “Going through the door, it was great hospitality. The coaches were excited to see me and it overall was a great experience. I can see why Texas is gonna be so special next year.”
Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall four-star wide receiver Ja’koby Banks is the lone commit in the Cougars recruiting class.
