One of the nation’s best prospects in the 2026 recruiting class has made an early decision.

Houston Legacy the School of Sport Sciences four-star athlete Keisean Henderson will stay home and play for the Houston Cougars, he announced.

Henderson is the country’s No. 30 overall prospect, No. 2 athlete and No. 3 recruit from Texas in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“It’s like a huge family and I’m all about family,” Henderson previously told On3. “Since the first day I came up to campus they made me feel at home. Every coach on the staff is like family now.”

New Houston head coach Willie Fritz and his staff have been recruiting the Texan star since they were at Tulane.
