Houston Cougars DB Jeremiah Wilson enters NCAA Transfer Portal
Houston Cougars defensive back Jeremiah Wilson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.
Wilson was a major ball-hawk this season for Houston. He accumulated 24 total tackles, four passes defensed and four interceptions over the course of the 2024 campaign.

Moreover, Jeremiah Wilson played high school football at Osceola (FL), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1202 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Parker Jenkins was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2023, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He played his high school football at Klein Forest in Houston, Texas. There, he was the 22nd-ranked running back and the 348th-ranked player overall in that cycle.
In 2024, Jenkins played six games for Houston and carried the ball 17 times for 34 yards, or just 2.0 yards per carry. He also had three receptions for seven yards. He, notably, did not have a rushing attempt over the final seven games of the season for Houston.
Those numbers were down from his freshman season when he played in 12 games and had 99 carries for 464 yards and three touchdowns. He had 15 receptions for 81 yards and returned kicks as a freshman.
