While a number of programs were pursuing him at linebacker, Illinois was among a few that want him as a running back at the next level.

Kaden Feagin had 143 carries for 1,249 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior last season. On defense, he had 99 tackles, 39 solo, and two interceptions while returning one for a touchdown. He had four kick returns for 143 yards and a touchdown and three punt returns for 66 yards and a touchdown.
