Three-Star SG Jase Butler commits to Illinois
Point Reyes Station (Calif.) The Branson School 2024 three-star shooting guard Jase Butler has committed to Illinois.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pound senior chose the Fighting Illini over a final group of New Mexico, LMU, San Francisco, Colorado State, and UCSB.
“I felt (Illinois) was the best place for me to reach my goals,” Butler said to On3.
In his own words, what type of player is Illinois getting in Butler?
“I’m a high IQ point guard, who make the right plays, a two-way player that can give you a bucket from anywhere on the floor.”
