Illinois commitment Morez Johnson, "I wanted to be part of a winning program"
Four-star Morez Johnson’s recruitment was over before it really started. The 6-foot-8 forward committed to his home-state Fighting Illini, in November of 2021. This gave coach Brad Underwood his first commitment of the 2024 class.
Johnson averaged 17.2 points and 12.1 rebounds this season for Chicago (IL) St. Rita’s. On3 caught up with Morez Johnson after a recent live viewing to talk Illinois.
