2024 CB Judah Jenkins decommits from Indiana Hoosiers
Olney (Md.) Good Counsel three-star cornerback Judah Jenkins has decommitted from Indiana, he announced on Sunday.
He was pledged to the Hoosiers since June 19. He also held offers from the likes of Ole Miss, West Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Jenkins is the No. 975 overall prospect and No. 98 corner in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 player in Maryland.
“After talking with my coaches as well as my family, it’s best for me to decommit from Indiana University and reopen my recruitment. Respect my decision. Thank you IU for everything,” Jenkins wrote in his announcement.
He does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Hoosiers without blue-chip prospect in 2024 recruiting class
New Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti will have plenty of work to do on the recruiting trail once he gets settled in Bloomington. Following the decommitment of Jenkins, the Hoosiers’ 2024 recruiting class now features 16 commits and ranks 60th in the nation, per the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

On the offensive side of the ball, Madison (Ohio) Trotwood-Madison three-star quarterback Timothy Carpenter headlines as the No. 50 signal-caller in the cycle. Clarkston three-star tight end Brody Kosin.
Other commits for the Hoosiers include: Dexter (Ga.) West Laurens three-star linebacker Quentin Clark, Mount Horeb (Wisc.) three-star offensive tackle Austin Leibfried, Homerville (Ga.)
