Prairie Du Chien (Wisc.) 2025 tight end Blake Thiry committed to Indiana on Tuesday, choosing the Hoosiers over Texas Tech, Western Michigan, Akron and a handful of other programs.

Thiry was a top target for the new Badgers staff that came over from James Madison, and he cited them as a key factor in his decision.

“Their coaching staff and I get to the opportunity to play Big Ten Football is the reason I picked them.,” he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “They knew how to win at JMU and the message being sent to me that stuck out was that they believe they are going to get it done at IU. I want to be a part of that change at Indiana.”

Thiry is the sixth commitment in the 2025 class for the Hoosiers, a third of their entire total from the 2024 cycle. The group is headlined by three-star LeBron Bond of Norfolk (Va.) Maury.
