DePaul Blue Demons point guard Conor Enright has committed to transfer to the Indiana Hoosiers, On3 has learned. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Enright was considered a highly sought-after recruit in the Transfer Portal. His experience helped make him a four-star recruit as a transfer this cycle. He was also the 143rd-ranked transfer player and the 21st-ranked point guard. This was also, notably, Enright’s second time in the portal. He had spent the first three seasons of his college career at Drake.

While at Drake, Enright redshirted as a freshman and spent a total of three seasons playing for Darian DeVries. Following the 2023-24 season, DeVries left for West Virginia. At that point, Enright hit the Transfer Portal for the first time, landing at DePaul. Now, one season later, both head coach and player are on the move again and each has landed at Indiana.

In his one season with DePaul, Conor Enright played in 23 games, starting every game he played in. Unfortunately, it was a season cut short by a shoulder injury. When healthy, Enright averaged 30 minutes per game. In that time, he averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. He did that on 39.5% shooting, 32.5% shooting from three-point range, and 63.3 percent from the free throw line. Then, on the defensive end, he had 0.7 steals per game.

In his two seasons with Drake, Enright appeared in 68 games and started 37 of them. That includes starting every game in his sophomore season. So, DeVries is comfortable using him in that starting role if need be next season.

Last season, at DePaul, Enright helped the Blue Demons to go 14-20 overall and 4-16 in Big East play. That was a 10th-place finish in conference play. It was also the first season for head coach Chris Holtmann.

The Indiana Hoosiers, for their part, are coming off a frustrating season. Heading into the year, expectations were high and early in the season, the Hoosiers were ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll. However, Indiana struggled at times, particularly in Big Ten play. By the end of the season, Indiana had an overall record of 19-13 and 10-10 in Big Ten play. They’d miss the NCAA Tournament and with that came the coaching change.

Now, Darian DeVries is looking to rebuild the program. Part of that appears to be bringing in players who he has some level of familiarity coaching.
