Jason Drake commits to Indiana basketball
Drake wasn’t the only guard to transfer in to Indiana ahead of the new season. North Florida guard Jasai Miles committed to the Hoosiers on April 16. He’s joining the Hoosiers after averaging 15.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while starting all 32 games last season.
Overall, Miles was efficient for the Ospreys during the 2024-25 season. He recorded an effective field goal percentage of 52.2% and a true shooting percentage of 53.9% a season ago.
Miles posted double-figures in all but three games this past season. His best performance of the season came in early December in a conference road game against Georgia Southern. Miles poured in 30 points, his only 30-point performance of the season, grabbed 11 rebounds and went 6-of-12 from distance.
Over the course of his two seasons at North Florida, Miles appeared in 64 games, starting 51 of them. He holds career averages of 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 41.6% shooting from the floor and 32.5% from 3-point range. Miles has two years of eligibility remaining.
