Indiana offers 4-star defensive lineman Keith Sampson Jr.
Indiana has extended an offer to New Bern (N.C.) four-star defensive lineman Keith Sampson Jr.
Sampson is the No. 219 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
The only North Carolina recruits ranked ahead of him in the rankings are Rolesville (N.C.) four-star wide receiver Noah Rogers, Harrisburg (N.C.) Hickory Ridge four-star wide receiver Christian Hamilton, Hickory (N.C.) four-star EDGE Rico Walker, Havelock (N.C.) four-star tight end Javonte Vereen and South Point (Belmont (N.C.) four-star offensive tackle Sullivan Absher.
Bloomington (Ind.) Bloomington South four-star cornerback Daeh McCullough is the lone commit in the 2023 class for the Hoosiers. He is the younger brother of four-star EDGE Dasan McCullough, a top-100 recruit in the 2022 cycle and an early enrollee at Indiana.

Clemson, Georgia, NC State, Ohio State, and South Carolina were announced as Sampson’s top five last month before he subbed Florida State in and the Bulldogs out.
But he is still going to be going on visits to other schools not in his top five, such as North Carolina.
He told On3’s Chad Simmons that he won’t be making a decision anytime soon.
“I am not going to commit until after I take my official visits,” Keith Sampson Jr. said. “I am going to take those during the season, so at the earliest, I could commit late in the season. … The visits are important, so I am just taking my time. I am going to do a lot of research on my top schools, get as many details as I can, take my visits, then make my decision.”
